THE PROBLEM: This federal agency was running on old technology infrastructure such as Windows XP, SharePoint, Hardware, and connectivity infrastructure. Causing security risks and loss of productivity, newer softwares/applications agency wanted to deploy but could not because more resources were required then what current infrastructure could provide.
THE SOLUTION: Cominfo was engaged to modernize entire agency including 60 offices located in 40 different states and provide training to end users.With no supervision and direction from the agency, Cominfo provided agency wide service, support, maintenance, modernization, migration, deployment, security, and inventory control of over 5000 pieces of hardware, Software, and Peripherals deployed to over 2500 end users Provided a single point of contact central Service Desk to serve as the primary Tier 1 and II interface to client’s user community who used various enterprise applications.
RESULTS: Entire agency was modernized within 12 months (2 months ahead of schedule) with 100% accuracy. Cominfo was recognized as one of the top vendors by the client. Agency was able to acquire new applications and softwares to keep up with the other agency and user’s demands.
